Stratusphere Upgrade & Migration Guidance
Overview
This is for Stratusphere Administrators who need to update their existing Stratusphere software. Based on the current version of software you have installed, recommendations for upgrading are below.
Before upgrading or migrating, we strongly recommend using the Stratusphere Sizing Guide to resize your Stratusphere appliances appropriately to reduce the chance of data loss.
In addition, please review the Release Notes for the version you are moving to for complete details of all feature additions, enhancements, and bug fixes.
How do I find what version I am running?
The current version of Stratusphere UX is displayed in two locations. On the Web UI Login page, it is displayed inside the blue ribbon at the bottom left of the page. It is also displayed on each running Stratusphere UX appliance's local console Status Screen.
How do I determine the best method for upgrading and/or migrating?
- Scroll down and locate the version you are currently using.
- Click on the version to expand a dropdown to view the recommendations and steps you will need to do.

Important: End-of-Life for Stratusphere versions 6.1.5, 6.5.0: Liquidware will discontinue all sales and technical support of Stratusphere versions 6.1.5 and 6.5.0 effective 12/31/2024. We encourage all customers who might still be using these versions to upgrade to a more recent version to take advantage of the numerous technologies and feature enhancements as well as resolved support issues
