Add Package Scripts

Administrators can add scripts to run with FlexApp DIA packages either before or after package activation or package deactivation.

Note: In order to specify which scripts to run, the application package must first be activated. Refer to the topic Activating or Deactivating a Package for instructions on how to do this.

To configure a script to run with a package, complete the following steps:

  1. From the FlexApp Packaging Console, click the down arrow beside the (Edit the package) button.
  2. In the drop-down list that appears, click the (Add scripts to the package) button.
  3. The Package Scripts screen opens.
  4. Click the Add Script button.
  5. Specify the following settings:
    • Package Script App—Select appdir-1.
    • Package Script Execution Time—Choose from Pre Activation, Post Activation, Pre Deactivation, or Post Deactivation.
    • Package Script Path—Browse to the location of the script to be run, select it, and click OK.
  6. Click OK to make the script part of the package.
