Configure Application Settings for Users
Administrators can change and configure default application settings on FlexApp DIA packages for users by clicking Configure the Package.
Note: In order to configure a package, the application package must first be activated. Refer to the topic Activating or Deactivating a Package for instructions on how to do this.
To configure application settings for users, complete the following steps:
- From the FlexApp Packaging Console, click the down arrow beside the
(Edit the package) button. - In the drop-down list that appears, click the
(Configure the package) button. - The Configure a Package screen opens.
- (Optional) In the Package Name field, rename the package with a more descriptive name relating to any special configuration settings.
- In the Application Location field, enter the full path or browse to the executable location.
- (Optional) In the text-entry field under the Application Location field, add any additional parameters for the application.
- Click the Configure button to launch the application’s executable. The FlexApp Packaging Console will then record the configuration changes you made to the application.
- When the process is finished, click Save to accept the application changes to the package or Discard to cancel out the setting changes.
- Click OK to finalize the process.
