Converting an App-V Package to a FlexApp Package

You can use FlexApp to convert existing App-V packages and import them by completing the following steps:

1. On the FlexApp Packaging Console screen, click the down arrow next to the Create button.
2. Click the Convert App-V button.
3. The Convert a Package screen opens.
   
   
3. If the package or packages you want to convert are located on cloud storage, select the Cloud Package checkbox and then enter the Cloud Credentials that should be used to access the packages.
4. In the Package Files field, click the Search icon to locate and select each of the files you want to convert.
5. (Optional) Select the Create FlexApp One checkbox if you want to create a FlexApp One application for each package you are converting.
6. (Optional) Select the Cloud Target checkbox if you want to use a cloud connection as the target path of the imported package conversions.
7. If you selected the Cloud Target checkbox in Step 6, in the Cloud Target Credentials field that appears, select the credentials to use when connecting to the target cloud storage location.
8. In the Package Target Location field, enter the full path you want to import to: for example, 'c:\packages'.
9. Click the Convert button.
