Edit a Package’s Metadata

The option to edit a package's metadata is only available while the FlexApp package is not being used in a FlexApp Configuration Module rule.

To make changes to a package’s metadata, which consists of its package name and package icon, complete the following steps:

  1. In the FlexApp Packaging Console, locate the package whose metadata you want to edit.
  2. Click the Edit the package button on the right side of the package row.
  3. In the drop-down list that appears, click the Edit the package's metadata button.
  4. The Edit a Package's Metadata screen opens.

  5. (Optional) In the Package Name field, enter a new descriptive name for the application package.
  6. (Optional) Update the Package Version number, if desired.
  7. (Optional) In the Package Description, update the description of your package.
  8. (Optional) Select the Create FlexApp One checkbox if you want to create a FlexApp One application for the FlexApp package you are editing.
  9. (Optional) Click the Change Icon button, to choose a new icon to use for the application package
  10. Click the Save button in the top right corner of the screen.
  11. Changes take effect the next time the package is played back.
