Set Up Predictive Block Caching for a Package
Predictive Block Caching can be used to download and cache a specific set of blocks from a FlexApp VHDX file to reduce application load times. - In the FlexApp Packaging Console, locate the package you want to set up Predictive Block Caching for.
- Click the Edit the package button on the right side of the package row.
- In the drop-down list that appears, click the Set up Predictive Block Caching for the package button.
- The Creating Predictive Block Cache for the Package screen opens.
- Launch the application to capture the blocks that will be used when a user starts the application.
- After the application has fully loaded, close it and click Finish.
- Click OK when the process is complete.
Note: If Predictive Block Caching data has been recorded for a package, a small icon for this option appears in the lower right corner of the application’s icon in the package list.
